• Download PEDMAKER Program. This program manages and prints your pedigrees. Laser printer recommended. For DOS or Windows - sorry, no Mac. This is the latest version, 4.8.

  • Improvements:
    1. Corrected inbreeding coefficient.  Now the "inbreeding index" correlates to inbreeding coefficients  found in genetics textbooks.  (Wright's Coefficient of Inbreeding)
    2. Pedmaker will now create pedigrees in HLML format for easy attachment to e-mail messages. You can e-mail pedigrees to friends and other breeders. This is accomplished from the print function.

    Installation Tips:
    1. Download the self unpacking file and place it in a temporary directory or on a CD.
    2. Then run the pedmake.exe file to unpack.
    3. After unpacking the files, from the "Start/Run" prompt, run the "install" program which was just unpacked.
    4. Follow the usual procedures to place an icon in windows. There is a special little icon for Pedmaker in the pedigree directory you just created.
     

  • Download HEIGHT- BYTES Program.This is a windows program which lets you predict the adult height of your apso, from his measured puppy height.
  • Download ROSTRMAN.  This DOS program manages a club membership roster.  It is presently configured for the American Lhasa Apso Club.  It will be downloaded in the form of a self unpacking exe file.  Put "rman.exe" in its own directory and run the file. The rostrman.exe program will be expanded.   The data file containing the complete ALAC roster is encrypted.  There is a "password" program included to de-encrypt the roster and the password can be obtained on a "need to know" basis by E-mailing me at Cathy's mailbox.   Other users should delete the encrypted datafile "alac.dat" in order to try the program.
