Official AKC Qualifications for Breed Mentors of Judges
  • Parent club approved mentors or breeders with a minimum of 12 years experience breeding, exhibiting, or judging the breed in conformation.  

    I hold a Batchelor's Degree in Zoology, and a Doctorate in Medicine, and have taught Comparative Anatomy at University level. I have been breeding and exhibiting Lhasa Apsos for 36 years, have bred numerous Champions and judged sweepstakes at specialties around the country.  I have also published many articles on the breed, reprinted around the world, and have maintained this informational website on the breed for 12 years.  I am available for ringside mentoring in the Metropolitan Northeast.
